Title: paint the back of a tank
Post by: RichE on March 09, 2013, 07:38:24 PM
I was going to go with the black like all the others but I have some grey paint and was thinking of painting the back grey, and the substrate will be natural colored pea gravel and driftwood and fieldstone. Whats your thoughts on the color grey?

I like grey.  Its kinda half way between white and black.  Also I've heard women tend to like different shades of grey, something like 50 of them.

Grey would remind me too much of being back in the Navy. LOL

I think you should wrap the tank up like a Christmas present.  I have a few rolls of wrapping paper in the basement for you to choose from.

At least the female would blend in the back ground.   Hey great idea,  if I paint the entire inside of my house grey would that make my wife invisible ?  Opps did I say that out load !

The only time I used grey was for a native fish photo tank.  Still prefer blue or black in regular tanks, but the grey worked fine for photos.
