I was checking out some fish at an LFS today and am having a hard time deciding what species it is, based on pics here: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/category.php?cat=11. The fish in question were marked as Julidochromis regani, without collection point data. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry for the horrible picture quality - they were from my phone.

Might be zambia golds. Look almost identical to the ones I have.
-
Look like Karilani Island, but hard to tell.

Thanks. What about the face? Dickfeldi appears to have nothing below the midpoint as far as striping even on the face...like thebpics above.
Regani Zambia gold seem like there are stripes on the lower part of the face?
Regani karlani island look like they have four stripes not three and little or no blue on the fins?
Again I apologize for the picture quality.
I'm wondering about dickfeldi?

Dickfeldi was my other thought. They looked closer to: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=1525

Thanks...I'm leaning strongly toward that as well.

Sorry the link didn't work for me? It loaded the page but not the specific image.'
I assume you meant the ornatus? If so, then no, because the ones I saw had a solid bar all the way into the tail fin...but the ornatus have a break before the spot at the base of the tail.

Scroll down and look at the pic labeled julie regani. Did they look like this in person? This is from a website of a person who has breed mostly tangs all his life.

No, no (4th?) bar on the 'cheek'/lower chin area like in that picture.
