The Ilangi are. Just about every 3 weeks i was stripping but the last 2 months has been dry. Im betting they are just on their off cycle. The duboisi I think are a bit young. Maybe in 2-3 months though. They are growing fast now that I put them in with the Ilangi.

I know nothing about these guys other than some reading about and pictures of them. So I have to ask out of curiosity.....what is the behavior they're exhibiting? Begging, eating...etc?
Good looking group.

I assume the behavior in the video? They tend to always be like this. Before and after feeding. Tropheus are very active which is one of the many reasons I love these fish. They are very aware of what is going on in the room too. If there is any movement they generally respond to it right away. If you sit still in the room for a while like I did while taking some of that video, they will spread out and calm down a bit. After calmed they are still very active with chasing, sifting sand, and grazing on algae.

really nice setup. ilangi are my favorite. like the 2 rock piles. good mix with duboisi.

This is excellent. My wife likes the Duboisi and I like the Ilangi. Nice to see we can have our two species in the same tank.
