Here is my new 55g Tang community tank. Currently there are 3 Julidochromis Marlieri, 2 neolamprologus brevis "kitumba orange belly" and a yet unidentified pleco I have had for a while. Here's the fts

Nice tank! The aquascaping looks great.

Nice...and I admit I'm partial. I have N. brevis and J. marlieri in a tank with a inkfin Calvus for population control.

This pic has less of a glare off the sand

Nice setup, lots of great hiding places

Have you thought about adding more shells?
-
Nice tank and pic of the fish. I would add more shells through piggy backing on Ron's question. Rule of thumb is at least two or three shells per shellie.
-
Tank decor looks good-that pile of rocks will provide plenty of places for fish to hide and claim their territory. I think some shells would be good. 8)

Brevis are "shell dwellers". They'd be happiest with shells in the tank. They spawn in the shells.

Yeah, I knew there needed to be more shells. I was just waiting for them to get here. There are actually about 24 shells in this tank now. When I get a chance I will take a new pic.
