Title: Tropical Treasures - Gratiot in Clinton Twp
Post by: four_by_ken on February 19, 2013, 05:43:11 PM
I had to make a return visit as someone else saw something in this store that I did not.

Well, I am glad I went back.  Nice store.  Ok selection of cichlids.  Didnt really price shop.

Definitely worth a stop in if you are in the area.  I would stop here over the other couple shops that are real close by.

Good store.  I stop by when I'm on that side of town.  Selection is broken down by behaviors (i.e. semi aggr, comm, etc.),  which caters to the novice like myself.  Good amount of tanks with lots of pond supplies.  Plant selection is good most of the time.

I like this place, too.  One note about the Sunday sale that Patrick mentioned is that not all their fish are discounted.  One example is Cardinals.  From what I've seen it's clearly marked on the tanks. though.

Just got back from there.   I have always liked this store.  Tanks and water were very clean.  Prices were ok.  I bought some air hose and had my water tested.  Fine shop.

Made another visit today.  Water did not look great! fish looked healthy though.  They had many Africans, and some nice Blue Acara that I thought about but ended up passing over.
