today i left caro mi and came up to gaylord.I had bought 2 really nice peacocks 1 was a blueberry and the other was a really nice ob peacock well only 1 of them made it home and i spent 20 dollars on them both the ob died

It happens to all of us
Not to say we are not bummed
It could be nothing you did but just the all day stress on the fish
I guess one suggestion is to rebag before going home
Tony is the pro at this and always full of it I mean suggestions

Did you buy them from Shaun Dunham? I only ask because I believe he is in Caro and I know he bags fish properly - so I would then look for other possible problems. Where in the car did you keep them? In a styro?

Hello,
I am curious, did they die in transit, or after they were taken out, and put in a tank?
-
If you got them from Shaun they should've been fine. You can bring them home in a bucket with a battery operated pump...

no i got them from the pet shop in caro not shawn and yes i had them in a styrofoam container and they were in the back seat with me the one that died was swiming upside down and so we pulled over cause i thought it might have been lack of air and rinsed out styro and bought som e water and put them in there after awhile it started doing the same thing again it lived in my tank 4 about a half hour

Could have been stress, or temp, but proly stress.
When I make fish runs, I use an old 40 quart cooler, with some water in it, plus a heater. Then when I close it up, it's totally dark.
Keeping them at the same temp, and in total darkness, seems to do the trick for me.'
And I always take a little amquel with me as well.
Sorry for your loss.
