Title: Ever tried this mix?
Post by: JClem on January 31, 2013, 10:42:50 AM
Since my Green Terror (about 4 inches) has continually gotten his tail kicked and has gone into hiding in my main tank, I was thinking of moving him, at lest long enough to heal him up a bit. I'm sure it sounds like a bad idea, but thought I'd ask: anyone ever put a mild tempered GT with softer Cichlids like Angels? The only other tank option is too small for him with the other occupants (pair of salvinis).... Things seem to have settled for him in the main tank as he's "learned his place" but I don't know if it will last since he's really the only target of aggression in there. Any input (including, "you're an idiot for even asking") is appreciated!

You could take some egg crate and partition off a section in the main tank until he heals... How big is the tank ?

So, did you ever feed your angels to the Green Terror?

no- things calmed a bit. He's still the kid who gets his lunch money taken away, but he's no longer cowering in constant fear....
