Title: Petco dollar a gallon tank sale
Post by: Marty on August 23, 2011, 11:44:26 AM: I saw a post on MIAPG that Petco's dollar a gallon sale starts on August 28th. From the way the post reads, she works for Petco, so I'm guessing this is reliable.

Just me helping your MTS along in my typical insidious fashion ;)

They run that sale several times a year so it's a credible posting. If I'm not mistaken there might be some size restrictions but don't quote me on that.

Really? I could've sworn the two tanks I bought for the club (auction raffle) were 50 breeders. This was late last fall if I remember correctly.

Post by: Fishloaf666 on August 23, 2011, 06:54:22 PM: If i can recall correctly i think they stop at 55g being the biggest one you can buy for a 1$ a gallon. The 50B might differ from store to store? I am not sure but it is definitely under 55 gallons.

The sign in the Lansing store did not list an end date, but it did say the stock was limited. Last year for two of the three sales they had, stock was not limited. It was date restrictive.
