Looks to pull up the same links, etc. Or close.
We'll see what happens with it. I just hope its a male. Got the most dominate looking... male looking one in the tank.

I just really knew nothing about them. Liked the little picture I saw and picked one for for $8-9. They are supposed to be semi-aggressive, so I figured it would be a good fit for my 140 gallon tank.
My wife read somewhere that is the dots (when they are small) on the tail are connected and more of a stripe... lilkely to be a female. Mine are in no way connected.... male... pleeeeease.

I am a member of the gcca i had a group of them and bred them.
It took quite some time for them to color up. One of the fish that took the longest time get any color but when they finally did they looked spectacular.
Really a hardy and tough fish but not to aggressive.

Good to hear. So far, no change here. Its just eating and doing good... looking like a goldfish. :-)
-
Ken, Please let me know when you have some fry that has grown-out! Would love to add a nice male to my tank !
-
I only have one, no fry here.
