Title: Ever kept these ??
Post by: JIM on October 21, 2011, 08:09:28 AM
Paretroplus dambabe – This cichlid from Madasgar, grows to about 12 inches, tends to be an aggressive fish, especially during breeding, and does best in groups of  6 or more just like the tropheus of Lake Tanganyika. They have a poor immunity to ich, so if yours start showing signs,  hit them quickly with your preferred treatment, or they will die in a short amount of time. It is a fantastic looking fish,  high-bodied with a greenish body color and red along the stomach.
