I have a lake tang. tank it has buffalo heads and also has bemba flames tropheus. I am currently looking for a new type of fish to put in with them I am looking at cyps. I also like the Neolamprologus leleupi Orange. In your guys opinion what one should i go with? or could i put both of them in the tank?

Nice stock, I'm sure anyone would be happy with that setup. Do have any photos?

I would just go with the N. leleupi. While the Cyps are fast enough, I think the Tropheus would stress them out too much.

I don't have picks but I can. My next question would be what leleupis range or yellow?

That would be your personal choice. However, sadly it is likely that unless you get wild caught or F-1 stock, then the chances are they are of mixed blood. This does not make them a hybrid, just reduced purity.
The old pure "Yellow" N. leleupi have nearly disappeared from this area. Too many people would get the "Karilani Firecracker" (orange variant) and put them in with the old stock. Especially LFS that didn't know better or they just didn't care to keep them separate.
