Im wondering if it is genetically possible for these two fish to mate? Not that im trying to do this please don't think so. Someone here in Alpena has an add on C-list claiming to have babies for sale which is F-ed up anyway. But im wondering if its possible.

I sorta thought so, but knew someone on here would be able to answer for sure. There is a couple of pix on the add, I was gonna post the link but don't know how for sure.

This is the link with the pictures of the supposed hybrids... If it worked...

They look like hybrids to me. On the main fish the face shape is L. caeruleus and the rest of it is not. There's a fish in the background on the right with some black in the anal fin, but not enough for a L. caeruleus either. Of course there's a chance that some of the batch look more like a lab or a kenyii, though they aren't, which may lead someone else to confusion down the road and that is the main reason I hate hybrids. >:(

Hey Jim, thanks for posting the link. Now here's my plan: I already flagged his ad...now everyone else reading your post can go flag it and it will be removed. Then when he reposts it, we just do the same. ;D
