Title: Demasoni Cichlid

Has anyone had these or dealt with them?

I am picking one up tomorrow and wanted to see if there are hard to come by If I wanted to get more

i have a colony right now. Started breeding within three weeks of having them.

Are they easy to find if I wanted to get more? Down here in the province of "SE Canada" LOL

They aren't scarce,  but they aren't Red Zebras either.;)

They are also aggressive as hell...especially when it's a single fish, so watch your other fish. They will take over a tank quickly...even against larger fish.

Agreed mean as hell and have seen them cross breed with peacocks.

Mine have been relatively timid! My electric blue ahlis control the tank.

I kept a nice colony for a while. I'd suggest keeping a large group if you're interested in breeding them.

I currently have a group going 25ish in a 60gallon breeder they do great as I probably have a female always holding.  I also have some of there juvies for sale around 1.5-2inchs..   I would also be interested in any and all extra females and would trade my males..  but its always best to have more females then males with them..
