I've seen a couple different puffers before but I have never seen a "hairy puffer". That is a wild looking creature I like it 8) 8)

Thanks

I need to video him taking down a nightcrawler, it's really cool how hard he hits it.

That's one interesting looking fish!  How long have you had him?  It's obviously a male based on the article Marty posted a link to.

Thanks... He's in a 50long right now. But, I'm probably going to eventually move him to a 35 (36x12) & use the 50 to grow out something else.

Seems like a small puffer.  I think Marty's MBU puffer is over 12"

Blair, How do you clean your hairy puffer?
great question Jeff,  although I cannot give you all the details, as I don't personally watch the cleaning
But, it involves a long drive out to Commerce Twp.  where I pick up my buddy's dog( her name is Lily if you wanna know). I then bring Lily home, put her in the room with the hairy puffer,  toss a jar of peanut butter in the room, shut the door&  when Lilly starts barking I know she has cleaned the puffer. So, I then return her to my buddy.

Now I know what you're going to say - why don't I just have my own dog clean the puffer?
The answer is quite complicated as I am not really sure on what happens.  But, my buddy( same one as above)  likes to borrow my dog on occasion,  usually late at night after a few beers. I know this because it's hard to understand what he's saying, because of the drunken slurring.
I do know that the one time I showed up early to get my dog.... He was wearing a blonde wig, had peanut butter on his face&  my buddy looked VERY happy. :P

Any other questions?

NOPE.  In fact that was more than I think anyone wanted to know.

The only thing that could make this post better is a picture of Blair and Jeff playing with Blair's hairy puffer!

When I saw the title of this thread I honestly thought it was going to be a picture of Blair smoking a cigarette.
