Title: Bolivian rams
Post by: fishmagnet on October 13, 2012, 01:52:50 AM
I just set up a 29 gal planted community tank and am thinking of adding some rams. I have a 75 gallon all male mbuna show tank as well as a 55 gal mbuna harem tank , but have no experience with rams.
Any info on keeping these fish would be much appreciated.
Thanks

They are fairly calm, can be hard to sex, but I would probably do just one pair in your tank.  Mine eat pellets or flakes, different varieties.  They hang out on the bottom most of the time for me.  They dominant male gets elaborate red trailers from his fins.
