I was excited to get some Herotilapia Multispinosa (or whatever they're classified as right now)/Rainbow Cichlids from Fantastic Fins recently. Thought I'd post a few pictures of the two pair I picked up. They were apparently really common a few years ago and now are hard to find, so I was glad it only took about two months to find some local to me.
All four together:

Dominant pair:

One alone:

The females are showing their breeding tubes, and lots of color changes/chasing, plus some hiding in the cave(s), so might be fry soon, hopefully.

I picked up a couple from fins as well love them!

Ha, I just noticed the rainbow behind them. Is that on the background/backpane or not?

Yeah just a Penn place background I got free with a different tank...funny, never thought of how that is ironic before.

Always liked these, haven't had them since I was a kid. Thanks for posting.
