Hello, I obtained these fish during a trade and he told me one was a male and one was a female because they have breed once. If you truly think they are 2 females I will reach out to the seller. Thank you.

The ones pictured are both female,  yes.  I'd ask if the eggs hatched.  They probably just laid eggs over one another's.
