New 240g project

Will be starting 2017 off the right way, with a new huge tank project for the office/shop. Just got this 240g Acrylic tank tonight from Stan which will be a new home for my big haps which are outgrowing their 75g tank. Plans include knocking down the wall between the office & shop to make it one large room where all my tanks can be seen from anywhere in the room. Continuing the ceiling and floor so it all matching, repainting walls to match etc etc. Will be doing a stand and canopy build, 3D background and custom backlighting like I did on one of my other tanks years ago. Plus lots of little projects to it. Tank is in really good shape but since it is going to be a few months project I may just go ahead an buff the whole thing out so it is 100% scratch free since I will have plenty of time.

Thanks Josh. I'm looking forward to getting started on this one quite a bit. I swore off "big tanks" ever again after that 265g leaker a couple years ago, but the fact this one is acrylic changed my mind about ever doing a big tank again. No worries about this one leaking and if it ever did years down the road then much easier to fix. So this tank has my enthusiasm for big tanks renewed again 8)
