My Turtle Setup

Pretty cool, not something you see very often in a tank. I know they get pretty big, I've seen some massive ones while wade fishing the rivers up North, so what's the plan (tank size) for him once he is full grown?

That has been an ever evolving plan.  I don't know where I could even rehome him, so I am doing the best I can, and a reason I may be rude to people that want to keep them.  It's not like everybody has a 300g+ tank they can house and feed a snapping turtle.

I got him in a coffee can from a kid in high school.  I'd love to get some some land and build him a pond, but for now I'm doing what I can.

Pond would be a cool idea if you could do that. It'd be hard to let go of something you have had for so long for sure.

Right.  I definitely would do something smaller than a snapper.  Maybe a river cooter or something along those lines.
