somethings fishy clio
(1/1)
woogie0004:
well earlier today when i was feeding my tropheus i noticed one wasnt eating so i looked for my Metronidazole turns out i was all out. worried it may have bloat i went to somethings fishy in search of some Metronidazole or another treatment that had Metronidazole as an ingredient. when i was greated by the sales person they told me that there is no treatment for bloat and i should just feed the fish a lot of flake to flush out there system. i just looked at the guy dumbfound. after this i didnt even bother looking at there fish and went to pet smart where i found a parisite treatment that had Metronidazole as its second ingredient witch is better than nothing i figure. needless to say i will not be back to somethings fishy and would never take any advice from them

I've been to somethings fishy quite a few times, and I would have to say usually I do not take any advice they give me when it comes to cichlids, but they do on occasion have some nice fish available. I purchased my frontosas from them a couple years ago and I love them! They don't have a very wide variety of cichlids, but every once in a while they get something that I have to buy. There is not too many aquatic stores in the flint area, but this is definitely the best one. They have a wide variety of community fish available, as well as discus. Their prices for fish are not too bad on some, and high on others. I do enjoy going there when im in the Clio area though.

They do a pretty good job selling fish. They do have a lot of bread and butter fish with some cichlids. They have some saltwater fish also. Clean tanks, very few sick fish, Good store, give it 4 stars.

The saltwater section is certainly superior to the freshwater, but their Bettas are pretty great. They have oddball fish like an 8" Clown Knife. Also a substantial section of relatively cheap used tanks. Possibly the best feature is the tortoise that is free to roam the store.

While they have struggled to correctly identify a male when I purchased a Compressiceps and Borleyi - and the jury is still out on my recent Malawi Hawk purchase- they have the best selection of Africans in the area that I've been able to find. They usually have a decent selection of Peacocks and I picked up a Blue Ahli that is a stunner. I would also add that I have found the prices to be very reasonable.
